The bow tie, jacket and shorts combination is a terrible look from a bygone era, thankfully, but I do appreciate how these preps in this old LIFE photograph maintain their swagger by drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon. While some things go out of fashion, PBR always remains classic.

Carlsberg Limited Edition 900 Beer

Carlsberg created these highly limited edition beers in collaboration with 12 top Swedish bartenders, along with design firm WERK and event agency BSP Marketing. Only 200 of these (gorgeously) packaged promotional beers were produced.

I'm more of a Tuborg guy myself, but I want one of these.

Held every year since 1982, this is a three day public tasting and beer competition, where 1,800 different beers from over 400 breweries from around the nation are available for "sampling."
