Drive Thru Orders: The Musical

Like a real life Flight of the Conchords episode, this comedy duo of Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal (even their names are sort of similar to the HBO show characters) musically order their food at a couple fast food drive thrus. The ending of the Taco Bell one, which they swear isn't scripted, is particularly awesome. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uwY3sjqYX0&fmt=18]

Bacon Skateboards

No. No. No. These bacon themed decks are the opposite of extreme. This belongs in the realm of quaint lazy brunches with your mother-in-law.

Someone needs to stop this bacon madness. When will the vegetarians and vegans of the world unite and end this meme? And what is that funny feeling in the pit of my stomach that can only be quelled by the consumption of salty and crispy pork goodness???

Disgusting McDonalds

Watching this short clip of a filthy funk McDonalds did more to turn me off than that documentary Super Size Me. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQEHZlNLmXk&fmt=18]

The Breakfast Song

Start your Friday morning right with this video featuring Minister Cleo Clariet and his then fiancé Katherine Lane singing a song about breakfast with "no mo' bacon, no mo' sausage" and even "no mo' Capt'n Crunch!" His fiance though looks like she's spacing out imagining eating all that food. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYqM9-Fj0Pg&fmt=18]

Apparently Clariet passed away in 2004, but thanks to the Internet and YouTube he'll forever live on with his song bemoaning a breakfast with no mo' food. I hope wherever he is he can eat all the breakfast to his spirit's content.

Free Dinner and Tequila Shots at Park Avenue Winter

Seasonal restaurant Park Avenue (approximately every three months the menu and decor changes to match the four seasons) is offering free dinners and tequila shots from after 9:30 pm through March 20.

What's the catch? To celebrate the restaurant's appearance on Gossip Girls, this offer is open to anyone dressed like...a school girl. I think this falls in the lowbrow and brilliant section in New York Magazine's Approval  Matrix.
