Nnamdi really wanted this hat. I told him that I like Legos too...when I was in second grade. I said, "There's fashion forward and then there's fashion retardation." This fits in the latter category, but he was really insistent on "doing him." I guess I shouldn't be surprised, he does have a track record for these sort of things.

In the late 1960s Japanese photographer Hayashida visited our Ivy League universities and documented the students. The brilliantly preppy result was printed in a simple, now rare, book "Take Ivy." A copy was recently sold on eBay for over $1400. Here are a few scans.
