[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AToS187FiU] My friend Emily sends out a monthly music email of a few songs we should listen to and why. Recently she included this Cillo remix of Tunng's "Hustle" which I really liked, but I also quite enjoyed the above acoustic version that was recorded at Hackney City Farm in London.

Background information: So most of my readers probably have no idea who this cat is, but Jay Park is this Korean American singer and dancer who became the leader of a popular South Korean boy band 2PM before he was controversially kicked out. For awhile this was a top Twitter trending topic. Koreans are obsessed with their pop music ("kpop") and the fans of the various girl and boy bands are legion. So in exile back in the US, Jay uploads on YouTube this amateur video of him covering B.O.B's "Nothing on You" (You know, the "beautiful girlsss all over the worlddd" song) and since March its received over 5 million views. See, aren't you glad you asked? Anyway, here is the teaser music video for his slightly rearranged and updated "official" version of Nothing on You.

On Monday night I went to Brooklyn Bowl for some Blue Ribbon fried chicken dinner followed by a Snoop Dogg concert. Because he got started so late, we ended up ringing in April 20th aka 420 fittingly with Snoop. He performed a bunch of his old classics. Couple videos below.
