Let's just say that I have a number in mind and I haven't hit it yet.

Real Life Qudditch

A real life Qudditch tournament (you know, the "sport" played by wizards in "Harry Potter") took place in my neighborhood of Hells Kitchen recently.

Things that are funny about this picture to me:

1. They are (trying to) playing a game of "Qudditch." 2. Dude is wearing Under Armour gear and serious looking cleats. 3. Uncomfortable looking broom tucked in the junk region WHILE he is jumping in the air. 4. Getting tickled in the arm pit by opposing player (wizard?). 5. Goal is made from a hula hoop.

I don't want anybody, but my wife and maybe my doctor touching me in the places these people are touching me.

Scene in New York

image

I was amused by this bike messenger's stickered allegiance to Justin Bieber. I may or may not occasionally sing one of his songs at karaoke.

For Your Consideration

meth This is the face of meth. This is the mug shot of a guy after a two day, meth fueled crime spree.

She described the man as over six feet tall, weighing over 230 pounds. Police tried to track the suspect with a K9 dog, but lost the trail.

A police dog that can't track a six feet tall, 230 pound drugged up dude needs to be retired.

Pat Chung

The (great) Patriots have a safety named Patrick Chung. I looked him up on Wikipedia which had the following interesting bio:

Chung is of Chinese Jamaican descent, his father being half-Chinese Jamaican, half-Afro-Jamaican and mother Afro-Jamaican. He has four brothers and three sisters. Chung's mother, Sophia George-Chung, was a top Jamaican reggae artist in the 1980s. Her song, "Girlie Girlie," released in 1985, was a number one hit in Jamaica and made it into the Top 10 in the United Kingdom.
