Sadly this is the only photo from this night, but last week I had a reunion with my old coworkers from my first job out of college in New York City. We were legal assistants at a boutique real estate law firm. While I dealt with some of the absolute worst people ever--alright, just one person--I also worked alongside some of the greatest guys ever. For every recollection of of screaming attorneys, I have dozens of memories of the following awesome things that happened during my period with this firm:

  • Office baseball using crumpled up copy paper as the ball and rolls of building blueprint surveys for bats.
  • Office basketball using crumpled up copy paper as the ball (obviously). Worked on fadeaways while sitting on our wheeled office chairs.
  • I discovered blogging. Nick was I think my first loyal reader.  Dan was among the first ten.
  • Drinking contests with the Poland Spring water in the office. I forgot who won, but we definitely each got around to 8 bottles. Good thing the bathroom was next door.
  • Survived the blackout of 2003 with Dan. Nick, who lived five blocks away from me, somehow disappeared during the walk down the office building's stairs.

Anyway, here's our group reunion photo:
