I had a Sunday Funday this past weekend with Mariya after she dropped off at my apartment a new lamp that she picked up for me at IKEA a couple months ago (Thanks Mariya!).
In exchange for bringing the lamp, I bribed her with food. She chose Burger Joint. The burger doesn't look too tasty in the photo, but trust me: it's good.
Mariya's pained-looking expression makes it seem like I forced her to pose for this photo, but this was all her idea.
On our way to the park by the piers on the west side, I became distracted by this fountain. It was also 90-something degrees hot this day so this was the perfect way to cool off.
Mariya runs in as well.
"Mariya, put your face in the water." "OKAY!"
"I'm running in there again!"
I seriously couldn't get enough of the fountain. It was so fun. I remember once when I was approximately 11 years old, I got so distracted by this children's fountain at the Winter Palace (I believe) in St. Petersburg that I became quite lost from my mom. Pretty scary experience when you're 9 and worse, you're surrounded by a bunch of COMMIES. Joking.
And then we randomly bumped into Ayo at the park. This was him trying to give the illusion of levitating.
