I've been bad about the photo documenting part of this blog of mine (for the two of you that care). I'll be better about this in the second decade of the 21st century. In meantime here are a few photos from the past couple months of my life.
After a night of movie watching (Match Point, finally!) and drinking copious amounts of wine with my roommate, I got a text at 1 am from my buddy Andy summoning me to KTown. So I went. Of course eye glasses were required for entry into the restaurant.
We all look so composed, but I recall everyone being tipsy. The guys sitting at the table next to us gave us a bottle of sake before they left for some reason. (Props to Jackie for pics.)
Had dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant in Chelsea where Pooja, Munira and I gave our wedding gift to Lauren and Bob. I think they were happy with it. Finger snaps to Mun for finding such a lovely gift for us.
For some reason, on the ceiling in the rear of the restaurant they had this molded wave with Santas skiing on it. Bizarre and totally radical and bodacious of course.
I was really, really excited to discover that Munira was randomly carrying around Raisinets, which are pretty much my favorite thing in life.
And of course I was at karaoke later. Here's Mike and Tanya belting out a song. There was a third person in this photo who bolted as soon as she saw my camera.
This photo is a tale of four different expressions with Jay's on the far right being the stuff of nightmares.
Pooja, Munira, and Andy belting out a Broadway tune.
Jay (covers Creed), Lynda (Lady Gaga), and Ro (Fugees-ONE TIME).
Christian and his friend getting their duet on.
My camera hijacked by Ro and Tanya.
Later I went to the second half of Ayo's birthday party where in my drunken state I only thought to take one photo, which was of this one of Ansley and Chris demonstrating the proper technique for fake smiles.
